A US localization prototype of Buzz!: Master Quiz was released by MobCat on February 5, 2021. On the disc, it is labeled as a Test Sample version. It is dated July 25, 2008, which is 25 days before the American retail build.

Differences#
- The opening credits still match the European release.
- The "Slowcoach Award", which is given to the slowest player to answer a question in a multiplayer match, was not renamed to "Slowpoke Award" yet.
- Some word spellings (e.g. metre/meter, center/centre) still match the European release.
- The game's credits still match the European release.
- Several questions exclusive to the European release are still in the game's data. For "standard" questions, the answer on the far left is always the correct one.
