A late in development 17-minute-long trailer released on a disk that came with Weekly Famitsu 901, released March 10th. The trailer was later available for download on the official website, and, when download, has the name 'movie01' and the date of March 24th. That's the same date as shown on the magazine and disk. Despite being late in development, it has numerous changes compared to the final:

  • 0:00 - The intro is mostly final with a few differences:
    • 0:32 - The road looks more detailed.
    • 0.47 - The 'Persona' and 'Shadow' texts look completely different.
  • 2:55 - Burn My Dread -Last Battle- is an early version, with a lot of differences. It also plays in different places, such as stopping when Yukari tries to use her evoker.
  • 6:46 - Mitsuru's hair is black instead of red. This can still be seen in some cutscenes in the final game.
  • 6:54 - All the time-dependant objects are in the dorm, with the name entry sheet and Christmas tree.
  • 8:42 - An early version of Want to be Close, with a lot of differences.
  • 10:36 - An early Dark Hour theme is heard, seen unused in the final game.
  • 10:38 - Again, all time-dependant objects are shown, with the Nyx cult flyers.
  • 11:43 - The time-dependant objects again; this time for the Monad Door.
  • 13:04 - Plays an early version of Master of Tartarus, heard unused in the final. Only the introduction is different, though again, it's still in the files, showing early vocals as well.
  • 13:18 - Fuuka is shown navigating in the Priestess battle, which is impossible since she doesn't join until after the Empress and Emperor fight.
  • 13:25 - Junpei is seen battling the Hermit, which is impossible due to story reasons. This may have just been due to the other party members not being shown off yet in battle.
  • 14:18 - The 3D models can still be seen behind the hud when leveling up a persona.
  • 16:29 - Plays an early version of Master of Shadow. Similarly to Master of Tartarus, only the introduction is different, though the vocals stay the same.
  • 16:52 - Nyx Avatar has no filters over its voice.
