First Trailer#

Watch on YouTubeA number of differences can be noticed in the first trailer for this game, which is being voiced over by none other than Takaya Kuroda, voice of Kazuma Kiryu.

  • Tatsuya has no aura while performing Heat Actions.
  • The majority of his voicelines are different, and his famous "BOOGEYAH!" is nowhere to be heard. Instead, each Heat Action has its own unique voiceline.
  • At 04:14, it can be seen that the order of the moves in Extreme Awakening's punch combos is different.
  • At 04:25, Tatsuya can be seen performing a grab on TOMOKI that, in the final game, is only used by Reiji Shinjo. Considering that he may be using Brawling against TOMOKI (judging from his combos), this is either a cut grab for Brawling or footage of a once-playable version of Reiji's moveset.

Second Trailer#

Watch on YouTubeThis trailer also contains quite a few differences, though they are not as major as the ones in the first trailer.

  • Tatsuya's voicelines are, again, different.
  • Multiple clothing brands' names are flashed upon screen, however only DressCamp ended up having their products actually exist in the final game.
