A series of primarily platformer and action hack-and-slash games with ninjas (as the name may imply) and very crushing difficulty. The original trilogy on the NES if often touted for some pretty impressive cutscenes and music for the era.
Previously marketed under the titles Ninja Ryukenden (Legend of the Ninja Dragon Sword) in Japan and Shadow Warriors for most games in PAL territories.
