Developed by United Front Games, ModNation Racers was Sony's next venture into the sandbox genre with the "Play, Create, Share" motto after the LittleBigPlanet series launched. After the game launched on the PlayStation 3 & PlayStation Portable in May 2010, it only got a short lived sequel on the PlayStation Vita in February 2012, entitled ModNation Racers: Road Trip.
