A Boston-based company which publishes various pieces of educational software, often separated by grade levels. Their name is often shortened to TLC, which shouldn't be confused with the mega-popular girl group or the 'reality' TV channel.
Was later acquired by Mattel in 1998 but caused the company to go into debt and was later resold to Gores Technology Group two years later and split the company into three with the non-educational branch transferring to Ubisoft and the educational branch transferring to Riverdeep.
