Anti-Piracy#

The game has a simple anti-piracy check to determine if there is any SRAM by writing to $700000. The game normally does not have any SRAM, but cartridge copiers tend to include SRAM to support a wider variety of games. If the write to SRAM was successful, the game jumps to an infinite loop, thus being unable to boot and lock up at a black screen.

Developer Credits#

A programmer credit can be seen in the ROM at 0x958C.

Unused 9#

In the title screen, graphics for copyright notices and whatnot are loaded, including the year 1994. The game reuses the first 9 for both, leaving the latter unused. The unused 9 is also anti-aliased and has a longer stem.
