Youtubers Life [sic] is a simulation game where you get to become a successful YouTuber without putting in nearly as much work as it typically takes in real life.
Anti-Piracy#
In the Steam version of Youtubers Life, the game will detect if the steam_api.dll file wasn't modified. If this check fails, things will still progress normally until the player attempts to select the Move button from the houses menu. A message will pop up encouraging the player to purchase the game; choosing "OK!" opens the game's Steam page in the web browser, while "NO, THANK YOU" closes the message box.
The player won't be able to move out of the house, thus preventing further progress in the game.
