This is a sub-page of Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition.
Aside from the obvious things that are ported over (namely, all of the used content from the Wii version), there are obvious oddities that were ported over.
Unused Wii System Text#
Unsurprisingly, not all the Wii system text was fully scrubbed from the game. In '\Game\RomFS\bdat\code_ms.bdat', one can find many references to discs and the Wii system. As this version of the game does not run on the Wii or use a disc, this text is unused. Funnily enough, it was even translated for new localizations of the game (i.e. Korean) even though it would be completely pointless to translate these.

Unused Textures#
Tutorial images#
All tutorial images from the Japanese Wii version are left here unused. (cttrl_i files.) Oddly there seem to be some updated ones among the original Wii ones. Need to double-check if these were like started but never finished or something. cttrl_i094_01_0 is an Italian Definitive Edition tutorial with a weird red border around it. cttrl_i086_1_0 is also Italian.
Shulk's battle portrait#
mnu057_cont01_6 is Shulk's battle portrait from the Wii version.
np300609_0#
Matryona's jacketless icon is still unused like in the Wii version, but her graphics were still updated.
Title Logo#
titlelogo_0 is a leftover from the original Wii version, its duplicates are titlelogo_cn_0, titlelogo_en_0, titlelogo_kr_0, and titlelogo_tw_0.
Unused skip travel locations#
The unused skip travel location images of Memory Space (mf03_map00_img2201_0) and Junks (mf03_map00_img2401_0) are still here but updated, as you can not normally skip travel to these locations.
