WRC: Rally Evolved

This article has a talk page!
view on tcrf.net

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

WRC: Rally Evolved was Evolution Studios' last World Rally Championship game and the last one before a great manufacturer mass exodus... of which only one returned.

Unused Stages#

To do:
Videos.

Test Track (SS1)
This stage is present in test track mode. It has driving line with working checkpoints. Co-Driver pacenotes are not present. Replay cameras are not present (Except few on a starting line).

Test Track 2 (???)
Slightly different version of Test Track. It is identified as Rallycross stage, but AI are stuck on a start. Starting line is moved to the oval and driving line stays the same, but ends much earlier (Length matches Historic Challenges). Co-Driver pacenotes are not present. Replay cameras are not present.

World0 (???)
Early version of Turkish stage Simena. There are slight differences in foliage and props around track. It has also unused variations flags, which works here.

==Debug Menu==

To do:
Raw codes for both releases.

Watch on YouTube

Use the following Action Replay (AR) MAX code to enable a vast, large debug menu (this code is usually included in most Action Replay (AR) MAX code definitions):

N11T-Y1ND-RZJCQ
H4YV-5YZU-7HYTW
44WE-P9Z7-3ZV4E
1C59-2ED2-B4NA6

Once enabled, press L3 + R3 to access the debug menu.

Planned Japanese Release?#

To do:
Is the broken Japanese language option used for anti-tamper mechanism?

Using the debug menu above, it is possible to select a Japanese language option, where text will appear blank in almost everything except the two Memory Card screens below. Evolution Studios' prior WRC games had been published by Spike in Japan, which also published many other internationally-developed rally racing games there.
