Ultimate Soccer Manager '98 is a rather in-depth soccer manager game where the objective is to lead your club to financial success and wins.
Unused Sounds#
There are unused sounds for when you save, load, restart or exit on the underground garage screen. The corresponding .wav sound files have been given an .old file extension, effectively disabling the sounds. You can re-enable them by changing the files back to .wav. The sounds played will not really make sense (such as car noises when going through the exit door), hinting that there might have been an earlier version of this screen. Resigning can now only be done via the dropdown menu.

Regional Differences#
The German version, titled DSF Fußballmanager 98-99, had pretty much all German club and player names altered probably due to licensing problems. Examples:
