As with most games released on the Genesis, a TM was added in the US version.

The Japanese version uses the logo from the Arcade original, while the US version uses a completely new and bigger logo.
Monotros' sprite was redrawn, its orange line was changed to a thicker green one, and "All Rights Reserved" was changed to "Licensed By Sega Enterprises Ltd."
Misc.#
- The highest difficulty is called "Super" in the Japanese version and "Pro" in the US version.
- The "P" and "Q" modes are called "B" and "C" in the US version.
