The swastika on the map screen was altered to look less like one in the Arcade Archives port.

US AAF Mustang is a horizontal shoot-'em-up where you take control of a US plane against hundreds (if not thousands) of WWII enemy planes flying through numerous locations... although according to NMK, Normandy is in Spain.

The game is particularly (in)famous for a bootleg version where all the music and sound effects are replaced with those from Raiden. This is because its original soundchip, the NMK004, has a robust protection that bootleggers didn't know how to crack at the time.

This game was later ported to the Genesis as Fire Mustang.
