Character	Transcript	Description
K'	You're a real creep.	May have been intended as a special intro quote.
Black... Pitch Black!	These lines were later used for K's HSDM Crimson Star Road in KOF 2002. Their presence here indicates that the move was planned for this game initially.
Kyo Kusanagi	Let's go!	Kyo's usual intro quote in the KOF series. Most likely intended for the same purpose here, as Kyo is instead silent for his intro in this game.
Get lost!	Most likely intended as a special move quote.
Shut up!	Most likely intended as a special move quote.
Shingo Yakubi	Don't underestimate this student... come at me with everything you've got!	An alternate take on Shingo's KOF 2000 intro line. Was likely meant to serve a similar purpose in this game. The line used in-game is simply reused from his special intro vs. Iori.
I'll show you... the Fists of Kusanagi!	Shingo's take on Kyo's famous line for his Mushiki DM. May have been intended for Shingo's Shingo Kinsei Ore Mu Shiki given its similar name and appearance.
I really can make flames after all!	May have been intended as a victory quote.
Mr. Kusanagi... Shingo's coming for ya!	Very likely intended as a special intro quote vs. Kyo.
That was useless!	Purpose unknown. May have been intended as a K.O. quote.
H-Hey, hey, hey, wa-wait a minute!	Likely intended as a special intro quote.
Time to get serious!	May have been intended as an intro or special move quote.
Ryo Sakazaki	Hien Shippu Kyaku!	Ryo's call-out for the special move from KOF '99 and 2000. Was replaced with the equivalent call-out from KOF '97 and '98 in this game.
Raijin Setsu!	Ryo's call-out for the special move from KOF '97 to 2000. The move is still present and usable in this game, so why this is unused is unknown.
Yuri Sakazaki	Eating a fish rice ball after a victory is the greatest!	Presumably an unused victory quote.
I raised my fist once again... Just kidding!	Presumably an unused victory quote.
That was an ultimate defeat! I'm just too much! Don't you agree?	Presumably an unused victory quote.
I'm the best when it comes down to it, right?	Presumably an unused victory quote.
How was that? I'm pretty good, eh?	Presumably an unused victory quote.
Too easy... so it is.	An alternate take on Yuri's typically victory quote. Presumably an unused variant.
I just look way too cool!	Presumably an unused victory quote.
Kyokugen Fight!	May be an unused victory quote or special move quote.
Chou Guruguru Knuckle!	Seems to refer to a scrapped variant of Hien Senpuu Ken a.k.a. Chou Knuckle.
Osu!	A kiai similar to the one used for Yuri's special intro vs. Art of Fighting members. May have been intended for a similar purpose.
Chesto!	May be an unused victory quote or special move quote.
Dossei!	May be an unused victory quote or special move quote.
Messatsu!	Recognizable as Akuma's signature quote from Street Fighter. Was very likely intended for use during Yuri's Raging Demon parody move.
Eat this!	Presumably an unused special move quote. Would later be used for Yuri's Denjin Haou Shokou Ken in KOF 2003.
Yah!	Presumably an unused special move quote.
Kyokugen Fighter!	Presumably an unused victory or special move quote.
Hien Rekkou!	Yuri calling out her Burn Knuckle parody move by name instead of "Chou Knuckle".
Hien Shippu Ken!	Yuri calling out her Tatsumaki Senpu Kyaku parody move by name instead of "Chou Mawashi Geri".
Ichigeki Hissatsu!	Ryo usually says this during his Tenchi Raoh Ken move. Yuri may have been intended to have a parody of that move at one point.
V, V!	A take on the "V" Yuri calls out during her victory pose and SDM. Presumably an unused victory or special move quote.
Midama Shigeri!	A call-out of an unidentified move, maybe a new one intended to be introduced in this game.
OK!	Terry usually says this during his iconic win pose. Yuri may have been intended to have a parody of that animation at one point.
Volleyball!	A call-out of an unidentified move, maybe a new one intended to be introduced in this game.
OOH!	Presumably an unused damage quote.
We did it!	Presumably an unused victory quote.
Hmm? ...Aah!	Expressions of surprise. Purpose unknown.
Kou...	Purpose unknown. May have been intended for use with another line for a special or DM move quote.
Clark Still	Pass!	Clark's Striker line from KOF '99 and 2000. Clark has a different Striker action in this game, hence this goes unused.
Heidern	You're a shooting star after all. It's your destiny to fall!	Heidern's special intro quote vs. Rugal from KOF '98. Given that Rugal is not in this game, and most of Heidern's lines were re-recorded, this is most likely a simple leftover.
Athena Asamiya	Y... You know... Kensou? Can you hear me?	Athena's special win quote vs. Kensou in KOF 2000. A different line is used in this game.
Psycho Shoot!	Athena's call-out for the special move from KOF '99 and 2000. Said move is not available in this game, but Athena does have unused sprites indicating the move was meant to be included.
Ouch!	Athena's taunt line from KOF 2000. A different line is used in this game.
Sie Kensou	I knew it! Athena, I LOVE YOU!	Meant as a special intro line vs. Athena, similar to the previous game. Kensou has no line for this purpose in-game.
Athena, you're the only girl for me!	Meant as a special win line vs. Athena. Again, Kensou has no line for this in-game.
Chang Koehan	Koehan is coming!	Was used for Chang's Tekkyuu Dai Bokusatsu DM in KOF '99 and 2000, which is not present in this game.
Don't cut me, please.	Chang's special intro quote vs. Choi from KOF 2000. No line plays for the intro in this game.
Choi Bounge	Can I stab you?	Choi's special intro quote vs. Chang from KOF 2000. No line plays for the intro in this game.
Hoooo!	Choi's Striker line from KOF '99 and 2000. Choi has a different Striker action in this game, hence this goes unused.
K9999	Hey, what happened to you guys?	May have been intended as a victory/special win quote.
Just look at the view around here - it's absolutely stunning.	May have been intended as a victory/special win quote.
You're pissing me off with that attitude of yours!	May have been intended as a special intro quote.
Aaaaahhhhh!	Sounds somewhat similar to the scream K9999 does during his SDM super. May have been used for that initially before being replaced with the line used in-game.
Ángel	Nothing but trash!	May have been intended as a victory quote.
Whyyy yoooou!	Almost certainly meant to be a special intro quote.
Quail Eggs. Nice and crunchy, so they are.	May have been intended as a victory quote.
Original Zero	Welcome to Dance Hall. I'm your executioner.	A bizarre take on Original Zero's usual intro line of "Welcome to Death Falling". Might have been his original intro line.
Holy dejection!	May have been intended as a special or DM move quote.
Hold the Junction!	Sounds like a different voice, but is probably meant for Original Zero given its similarity to the prior line.
Fairy Soil.	Purpose unknown. May have been intended as a victory quote.
