The Adventures of Down Under Dan

The Adventures of Down Under Dan is a rather overlooked "Full Talkie Adventure" game with "Photo Realistic Settings" and "Digitised Video Animations" based in Australia. It has some charming Australian humor, interesting and sometimes frustrating gameplay. The main developer of the game is Geoff Wilkie, who also was taking part in Story, Text and Dialogue writing, as well as creating graphics and animations.

Hidden Area (Mines)#

There's a hidden location inside the "Mine" area that acts as an Easter egg. It's basically a black room with 5 identical DOS prompt sprites moving towards Dan. You can control the player when you enter the area and it has fully voiced dialogue playing randomly each time you enter the Easter egg location. At some point in the game you gain a map of the "Mine" area which has a landmark called "DBG" on it, giving you a hint about the Easter egg.
