Super Penguin is a hack of Koneko no Daibouken with graphics stolen from Doki Doki Penguin Land.

Hidden Credit#

At offset 0x2270 in the ROM (address 0x6270 in-game) there is the following developer credit, left unreferenced in the game's code.

® SCREEN SOFTWARE 1992

While this credit goes unused, Round 3-2 features the developer's Hangul name spelled out using blocks (스크린 소프트, Screen Soft).
