Unused VDP Patterns#

In the tileset used for the town-themed levels, the following graphics are present in VRAM:

They are never shown in-game, and the strings of pattern indices which would form the graphics do not appear anywhere in the ROM. The graphics depict a peach, an apple, and a lemon. This corresponds to the three towns featured in the game: Peach Town, Apple Town, and Lemon Town.

Cheat Codes#

The game has two cheat codes which appear to have been previously undocumented:

• Infinite continues: Press and hold ESC while the CASIO logo animation plays.
• Invulnerability: Press and hold SELECT while the CASIO logo animation plays.
