Revisional Differences

This is a sub-page of Sonic Unleashed (J2ME).

In 2011, Gameloft released the game for later Java phones. Unfortunately, the sprites were scaled with HQ2X (so while Sonic's sprites look pretty good, other sprites tend to look weird) and the new touchscreen controls cover most of the screen.

  • The logo was moved to the top-left corner.
    • The logo's white outline is missing, and it has poor transparency due to its anti-aliasing.
  • The title screen is less saturated and less stretched.
    • The render of Sonic and his werehog counterpart is no longer aligned with the glow behind them, since the background was stretched horizontally without accounting for it.
