Snatcher (PlayStation)

Snatcher arrives to the PlayStation in a conversion handled without creator Hideo Kojima's involvement (who had his hands full with Policenauts at the time). Essentially, it's a port of the PC Engine Super CD version (even using the same Japanese voice recordings) mixed with some of the changes and additions from the localized Sega CD version (namely the inclusion of shooting segments in Act 3 and the Konami cameos in the Outer Heaven cosplay bar) along with redone visuals, a remixed soundtrack and some odd censorship to the game's gorier visuals. It had a rather mixed reception, with even Kojima himself publicly disowning this version (much like he did the Metal Gear on the NES).
