|---|---|---|---|
PRISLOOP.RAW |
(instrumental) |
Disc 2 contains the full version of the prison music, but due to an oversight the main prison room is completely silent during gameplay. A heavily-shortened version (PIRSTING.RAW) is used during the prison entrance cinematic. |
|
SPUDCAP.RAW |
(agonizing screaming and yelling) |
Spud screaming and yelling in an atrocious, agonizing manner. Likely intended for a death scene, though it's not entirely clear. |
|
OPEN.RAW |
(uncertain; perhaps a door opening?) |
Present on both disks, but never used by any of the RCS scripts. |
|
CHILL11.RAW |
Doctor Chillblane: What? No! Wait! Best out of ten, eh? Come on! Give it all for a break! No! It's not supposed to end like this! I can't lose! No! |
An unused, fully continuous version of Doctor Chillblane's defeat lines. It was originally intended to play as a single, uninterrupted audio track during the ending sequence. However, when the developers realized the complete audio did not fit the timing of the cinematic scene, they decided to split it into separate, smaller segments. This allowed them to sync the dialogue properly and force the character to scream "noo!" once again at the very end. |
|
E34DEER1.RAW |
Guardian Reindeer: Oh, no! Not the icicle! I'm too young to die! |
A vocal line for the reindeer equipped with the unused weapon, intended for the death scene with the icicle. |
|
CT7.RAW |
Carpenter: Oh, there's no need for that! |
An unused vocal line for the Carpenter. It was likely intended for a deleted prison scene or served as extra dialogue that was ultimately cut from the final game. |
|
CT8.RAW |
(laughter or pain) |
Another unused vocal line for the Carpenter. |
|
PRIS9.RAW |
Gnome Prisoner: Don't go away please. or well go away please? |
An unused vocal line intended for the prisoner gnome trapped inside the cell at Doctor Chillblane's base. This specific piece of dialogue was cut from the final game, leaving the character with less interaction and scene. |
|
OTREE.RAW |
Gnome Helper: A dead Christmas tree. |
An unused vocal line for the gnome character, originally intended to trigger when interacting with a dead Christmas tree located inside the submarine during the second part of the game. |
Unused Graphics#
POLAR.BOB#
A background of the North Pole for the second part of the game, but the second bear is completely missing and all the details and objects from the final background are absent.
Unused FMVs#
AXEHEAD2.FLC#
A significantly more violent death sequence for the mines, wherein Spud is killed by getting a pickaxe embedded directly into his head. The final game omits the pickaxe to the head.
PRISON.FLC and PRISON2.FLC#

Another discarded cinematic file that likely suffered a similar fate due to audio synchronization limits. While the first file (PRISON.FLC) represents the full version of the prison scene, it does not have the same duration because the carpenter and penguin dialogue is much shorter so it remain unused. This second file (PRISON2.FLC) features only the isolated scene of the Penguin talking. In the final retail game, the developers completely restructured this sequence by chopping it up and interweaving it with other files. The final scene is instead composed of a precise chain of smaller files: prison1, pentalk, carptalk, pentalk1, prison3, prison4, and c33pexit (excluding the external audio files dynamically loaded during these scenes).
Unused Animation .PAN Files#
Hardcoded and unused animations featuring the prisoner gnome, several unused animations in Doctor Chillblane's fortress, and sequences from the Emperor Penguin's prison
Unfortunately, .PAN files are incredibly difficult to extract or view intact using standard modern media tools. Consequently, the only viable method to showcase these animations is to manually modify the game's original RCS scripts and test them directly in-game.
Unused Icons#
TAKE.MIC, TAKE1.MIC, TAKE2.MIC, TAKE3.MIC#
A set of pickup-and-drop icons, found only on Disc 1.
HAND1.MIC#
Almost certainly a hand-drawn icon placeholder, or an early version of the icon. Present on both discs.
HARDHAT.MIC#
The icon for the Hardhat. The .pan and line voice is present in the game, but the icon for its spontaneous object use cannot be displayed.
DEMO.MIC#
A placeholder icon With a scribbled-out X and the word "demo" on the front, from an old demo or an old build. Present only on Disc 1.

An unused Christmas pudding with dynamite, found only on Disc 1.
SHOTGUN.MIC and GUNNOME.MIC#
