Robots is a 3D platformer based on the movie.
See a need, fill a need!
Unused/Leftover Developer Test Rooms#
There are multiple references/calls to Developer test levels that were leftover in the code. These maps were apparently used to test different physic interactions and enemies. Restoring the calls in the code via reassemblely, you can access and explore these levels.

Windows .EXE Comments#
Robots.exe itself contains a fair few comments, some of which discuss what needs to be done, and some of which is pretty vulgar:
.VENGEANCE 2004
/ STALKING a sis
ter near you!
;could mix this with the skinning code
;as skinned characters will not recieve shadows!
;w fix up
One goes as far as saying that some current code won't work:
;this needs sorting will stall .....
Bonus Feature Leftovers#
The bonus features show clips of a prototype from October 7, 2004, October 25, 2004, and November 5, 2004, as there is a watermark seen on most gameplay footage similar to the Ice Age 2 PS2 prototype. They have some notable differences throughout.
- The HUD font is different in the October 7th build.
There is also footage of the progress of the Rivet Town level in the "A Movie Becomes a Game" bonus feature, showing multiple versions of the level.
- The "Original Design" part has Rodney in his adult design, very different visuals, and a completely different HUD.
- The "3 Weeks Later" part shows another part of the early HUD, more buildings, and Rodney showing his child form.
- The "15 Weeks Later" part shows more finished visuals, but still with the early HUD.
- The "19 Weeks Later" part shows the October 25, 2004 build, with the final HUD and final HUD font.
