Pyramid (NES)

Pyramid is a Tetris clone, but with wedged blocks instead of tetrominoes. It doesn't really work well, to say the least.

Regional Differences#

In Japan, the game was localized by Hacker International. Aside from the expected added NSFW artwork, this version also fixes a sound bug where playing the game with the music off would cause a siren to play incessantly after using a bomb.

Picture Test (Hacker Version)#

At the title screen, press Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right to access a picture test. Use the D-Pad to select a palette color, A or B to change its value, and Select to change the image.

Revisional Differences#

Mr. Stone#

In 1999, Sachen decided to re-release Pyramid on versions A and C of the Sachen Superpack compilations. Besides updating the copyright year, they inexplicably renamed the game to Mr. Stone. The sound bug fix from the Hacker International release did not carry through to this version.
