pop'n music 4 Append Disc (PlayStation) The second of two pop'n music Append Disc releases, which require pop'n music 2 to load. It was also released for the Dreamcast, being one of Konami's final two games for the system.

Unused Graphics#
HYPER Chart Leftovers#
Starting from 0x1F0E000 are sprite sheets for the genre names seen in the song result screen. Within several of these sheets are placeholder graphics labeled "Hyper Yokohama 1" and "Hyper Yokohama 2"; they were seemingly meant for HYPER charts for the songs ENAMORADA and Taiyou ga mitsumeteru, though they don't have them in the final game.
Furthermore, within the total result screen graphics (0x1FB6800) are placeholder genre name graphics for these same charts, labeled "2" and "3".
Unused Character Palettes#
Many characters, both returning and new, have unused palettes within their sprite sheets.
New Characters (AC)#
JUDY
The character of Toumeina manicure. Her sprite sheet (0x2EF000) has an unused variant of her 1P palette which shows her with a pink bracelet (like her 2P) instead of a blue one.

Ash
The character of Kimi wo kowashitai. The graphics in his sprite sheet (0x333000) are mostly the same as his pop'n music 3 counterpart, so it's no surprise some palettes from that game can be found too; these include 3P and 4P palettes, both palettes meant to be seen in the total results screen, and a black and white palette.

Donna
The character of Girls Riot and LET ME FEEL SO HIGH. Curiously, there's two separate sprite sheets for both of her appearances (0x3B2800 contains the "new" version, and 0x43F000 the "old" one); both will be listed in this section.
The "new" sheet still has the main palettes from the "old" one, while the "old" sheet has the palettes meant for the total results screen in pop'n music 3.
