Revisional Differences

This is a sub-page of Pokémon HOME.

Careful, you'll lose an eye.

This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.
Specifically:

  • Get the rest of them and add them to the page and compare.
    • So, so many more. Updated renders, shading and other fixes.

Some Pokémon's render images were updated in newer versions of the game, ranging from small touchups to complete overhauls.

The shell and tail were recolored, the shell has been made slightly bigger, and it has more polygons.

The shell and blasters are at a different, much less awkward looking angle. The shading has also been improved.

Was updated to a higher poly render, then the tips of its tails were made more consistent with official artwork.

Salazzle's eyes were redrawn.

In the initial version of Home, Minior's shiny render had a tint to it, indicating the color of its core. This was later changed, as Minior's shiny appears the same no matter the color of its core.

Shiny Cosmog was incorrectly depicted with blue cheeks like its regular form, instead of red. Additionally, two of the sparkles on one of its appendages were moved around.

Solgaleo's initial render was updated to add some shading, and again to make the mark on its forehead consistent with official artwork.

Notes

Shiny Gigantamax Corviknight had incorrectly carried over the red color of its normal form.

One of the glowing red spots near Carkol's face was ever-so-slightly tweaked, followed by the addition of two pieces of coal and minor changes to the side of its mouth.

A few pieces of debris were added next to Gigantamax Coalossal.

Gigantamax Flapple/Appletun's red color was changed to a darker shade. This change carries over to its shiny render, albeit only the tongue.

Obstagoon's shiny render incorrectly depicted it with the same red eyes as its normal form. The shading was also slightly changed throughout, and the model for the render got touched up, as seen on its hip.

Snom's render saw several changes. First, the ice covering its body was made non-translucent. Second, the ice was made translucent again, but a slightly different color than the original image. Snom itself was also made smaller.

According to its official artwork, the pointy black fur around Single Strike Urshifu's head is supposed to be all black. It was partially corrected.
