Pochi to Nyaa is a port of the Neo Geo puzzle game created by former Puyo Puyo developers that ironically served as the last third-party MVS game developed for that system (though it was originally developed for the NAOMI; a PC port of that version would later be released by Compile-O in 2025). The PS2 version of the game notably adds several characters cut in the process of porting the game from the NAOMI to the MVS.
