OverBlood 2

Overblood 2 is an episodic game set in 2115 and involves a team of freedom fighters in a battle with Hayano Industries, uncovering a sinister plot about leaving all life on Earth to die from the consequences of a fatal rise in Earth's Temperature called "Earth's sudden death". Overblood protagonist Raz Karcy returns with a british accent and no love interest to be seen. Perhaps she felt strange about the similarities to Final Fantasy 7.

Revision Differences#

To do: Further investigation and comparison by the tech-savvy appreciated! English and German SLES-codes have a revision available, while the Italian SLES-code doesn't or it's just not dumped yet to a database.

The initial 1999 release of the PAL version (with a "© 1999 Evolution Entertainment" copyright on the back of the box) features a game-breaking bug where the game freezes during the mosaic-effect upon entering a certain room in Episode 2, presumably due to the sheer number of spider-bots that spawn upon entering the room. A 2001 reissue of the game (with "© 2001 EON Digital Entertainment" on the back) appears to fix the issue.
