Unused Music#

Sound\EN\Bonus1_Music.fsb contains the music file for the unused Bonus1_Sponge level.

Sound\EN\Bonus2_Music.fsb contains the music file for the unused Bonus2_Danny level.

Sound\EN\Bonus3_Music.fsb contains the music file for the unused Bonus3_Timmy level.

Sound\EN\A01L00_Music.fsb contains a track from the previous game, Battle for Volcano Island, most likely used as a placeholder.

Sound\EN\A01L04_Music.fsb contains a track of unknown use.

Sound\EN\A02L01_Music.fsb contains all the tracks used in Factory Zone 3, among which is one called MU_DANCE that goes unused. It may have been intended for the brief section where you fight a horde of toys while on a collapsing disco floor.

Sound\EN\A02L02_Music.fsb contains a snippet of Powerhouse and Other Cuts from the Early 50's from The Carl Stalling Project.

Sound\EN\A02L04_Music.fsb contains a track from The Fairly OddParents: Breakin' Da Rules that went unused in that game as well.

Sound\EN\A03L01_Music.fsb contains a clean version of a cutscene track from The Fairly OddParents: Shadow Showdown. Interestingly, one of the sound designers of this game, John Guscott, also worked as composer and sound designer on both Fairly OddParents games, possibly explaining how these two tracks ended up here.

Sound\EN\A03L02_Music.fsb contains three tracks named A03L02, A03L02_b and A03L02_c, the first of which plays during the final level and the multiplayer mech level while the other two go unused.

Unused Dialogue#

Entry#

These are all archived in Sound\EN\VOM_Entry.fsb. They were probably meant to be played when entering a new area of the game, with a few characters' last sound file in the archive explicitly referring to the first half of Factory Zone 3. Notably, everyone but SpongeBob and Patrick's first sound file talk about being underwater while Patrick's first sound file doesn't have him in a state of distress, suggesting that Bikini Bottom was going to be more than a tutorial intro level where SpongeBob is trying to rescue Patrick from his robot captors.

While Bikini Bottom can be revisited with any character after clearing Factory Zone 1, there still won't be any dialogue playing upon entry.
