Mug Smashers

Mug Smashers has nothing to do with smashing mugs. Instead, it is a beat 'em up where you fight some thugs and save the sister's protagonist, Sheila, from Mad Dog (a blatant rip-off of Kingpin), who wants to murder her.

It's highly sure that this game was made on the same hardware that Double Dragon 3 and The Combatribes uses, as most of the assets (e.g. the fonts) are blatantly taken from both games and the music and sound effects only from the latter.

There are more unused graphics, including some Jump and Destroy signs.

Developer Credit#

Present at 0xF80 in the audio CPU is a hidden credit leftover from The Combatribes which isn't surprising since all of the music and sounds in Mug Smashers are ripped directly from that game.
