Unused Graphics#
Zombie Dragon Enemy#
Best_ZombieDragon.monsterimage.png is an unused image for the bestiary image of a Zombie Dragon. This image was first shown on OXM Disc #69, which was sent out in April 2007.
Kill 'Em All Hud Icon#
HUD_WayPointerPlace.png is a hud icon that would've served as a waypointer, likely to a monster fest or similar encounter. However, this icon never appears at any point.
Promotional Pictures#
bg1.png and bg2.png are pictures that were used in some of the games promotional material online. Why they appear in the files is unknown, but they are not used at any point in the game.

Multiplayer Map Select Graphics#
DMTowerCastle.png is a graphic that would've been displayed when selecting the Castle Tower versus map. Unlike the other map select graphics, this one uses the same filter the adventure levels do. This is the only file in the game where this is the case for a multiplayer map. Similarly, the Zack's House multiplayer map has an unused map select graphic which appears to be the same as the adventure modes picture, but upon closer look it is slightly different. A different picture of the backyard was used as its map select instead.

Background..2#
Background..2.png is a yellow colored version of the already existing and used FrameBG.png.
Narrator Dialogue Box#
This is the old background for all narrator dialogue. This was used in the demo, prerelease, and prototype. In the final game, this was swapped out for a picture of a paper and thus goes unused.
Unused Menu Buttons#
Left over from older builds are menu buttons that were either changed due to font differences or outright removed.
Player Number Indicators#
In builds prior to the 2007 prerelease, there was a unique icon to indicate which player number everyone was which ranged from 1-4. This was removed near the release as each character was unique enough to no longer warrant such an indicator.
Old Pause Menu#
Prior to the pause menu being completely overhauled, this is what the old pause menu looked like in the demo and prototype. It featured many design aspects which were not repurposed for the new pause menu, but also outlined a lot less information than the new one. It was also much clunkier to use and led to a lot more accidental restarting of levels than intended.

Old Options Menu#
In the older builds, prior to the options menu overhaul with the 2007 prerelease, the options menu was a lot more compact but also featured less settings to tinker with. It did feature a unique image picturing a zombie, gargoyle and imp. The old slider that went along with it was a very out of place cartoony bone.

Old Character Select Graphic#
Before being changed completely to a much more personality-filled graphic, calling in another player mid-level or match would use a duller orange picutre.
Old Results Screen#
Also before its overhaul in the 2007 prerelease, the results screen was very different. It used a completely different picture with an image of Bob Zombie, a different font, and much different character icons. The characters icons were repurposed to their new ones, but Carrie's (the 2nd one) was a direct rip from the level 1 cutscene. Andy (the third one) was also still primarily grey at this time, whereas later his main color was changed to red.

Unused Comic Balloon Text#
Comic balloons are a very big part of how this game displays interactions, so its only natural some go unused. "I'm not thirsty!" is likely supposed to be displayed if you try to buy more health refill when you're full, but this doesn't happen and you can buy as much soda as you want. "Pitfall! Hehe.." is for multiplayer, and due to how the multiplayer kill credit works, it's not possible to push someone off the map in such a way to get this comic balloon.
Unused Larry Menu Graphics#
Larry Tools is the only way you can upgrade or purchase new weapons or items throughout the game. During development, this menu went through several small redesigns. The main difference is that in old builds it used the weapons 2d pictures rather than the 3d models in the final game.

Unused Weapon Graphics#
In some builds of the game, the chainsaw and basketball have unique icons for when in the inventory. In the final build this is not possible as those two weapons can no longer be in the inventory. If a glitch is used to get them anyway, the graphic will still not be used. Additionally in the files is a completely unused graphic for a level of the boomerang, most likely the level one version.
Level/Map Select Graphics#
Before the total overhaul of the multiplayer and level select screens, they were simply screenshots of the map/level with a blood effect added onto the bottom. A factor in these changing is that they simply didn't look good, but also Microsoft not allowing them the go-ahead on getting their rating unless the game was censored, which included removing most of the red blood from the game. Additionally in multiple languages other than English is a Zack's House select screen with a different filter.
