Peridot#
In August 1992, "T.j." inquired on comp.sys.mac.games about an unused jewel visible in version 1.0's resource fork. Programmer Rodney Jacks explained:
The oval green jewel (peridot) you're referring to was removed
from the game at the last minute. It may return again with some
new and unusual characteristics (hint ;-)
Although the peridot was given a 'twinkle out' animation along with every other gem in version 2.0, it still didn't show up in gameplay. |
