Incredible Crisis

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

To do:
Document the prototype versions of this game.

Incredible Crisis is an odd story about a family who must get to their grandmother's birthday party in time while dealing with obstacles in their way, including market sales, leaky boats, booby-traps, bank robberies, giant teddies, alien invasions, and a wrecking ball that puts the Raiders of the Lost Ark boulder to shame.

Regional Differences#

To do:

  • What here applies to the European version?
  • The Japanese version appears to have rocks falling down the slopes during Tsuyoshi's first game ("King of the Hill") before the sand starts sliding, giving the player a hint on where to dodge. Are the rocks present in the US version, and is it a bug that keeps them from showing or is it a deliberate change?

Two of the mini-games were cut in the international versions, likely because they would've required more than text translation to be playable in English.

  • The last game of Taneo's scenario involves trying to defuse a time bomb in a runaway train by watching the instruction passing by the windows. Each kanji character is separated far between, which makes it hard to fit for any alphabet-based language.
  • Ririka's chapter has a (very lengthy) karaoke rhythm game in a style like PaRappa the Rapper. Would have needed a full dub to be localized.

There is an impossible pattern to beat a mini-game in the Japanese version of mini-game called "Pound for Pound" (shown in bold), likely due to an oversight. This was fixed in the US version.
