GAME OVER
Hoccer is basically the result of merging hockey with soccer. Taking the role of Andrew (a hockey player), you have to destroy three soccer teams (Hawks, Tigers, and Dragons) in three categories (Minor, Major, and All-Star) to get the three championship titles (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).
Hilariously, the game starts on the game over screen for some reason.
Revisional Differences#
Two versions of the game exist: the original version (known in MAME as "earlier"), and a modified version (known in MAME as "newer").
Qualifying Level (Level 0)#
The original version has a qualifying level, serving as a tutorial, where you have to defeat all your opponents in 35 seconds to avoid being disqualified and losing a life. When you succeed in defeating all opponents, you'll earn bonus points determined how much time is left multiplied by 100.
The modified version completely removes this qualifying level, replacing it with a message encouraging you to "PLAY OFFENSE!" and describing how to defeat your opponents.
