Guardian's Crusade is an RPG where you, as a knight, go on an adventure alongside a fairy and a pet that you raise, Tamagotchi-style... or at least as far as raising and feeding it is concerned.

Regional Differences#

To do: Reportedly, some "technical fixes" were done in the game for the international version. Find out what they are and add any that are notable. Help with translating the story text from the cut opening sequence in the Japanese version.

Opening Movie#

In the international version, the music in the opening movie was changed and some sound effects were added. The opening movie in the Japanese version also introduces the game's name and logo at the end, which is cut in the international version.

The title screen was completely redesigned in the international version.

Miscellaneous#

• Upon starting a new game in the Japanese version, an opening sequence plays, consisting of a flyover of the village with story text. The international version skips this sequence and goes straight to the fairy waking up the main character.
• A "Now Loading..." screen was added in the international version that precedes the opening logos and movie.
• An option to configure the controls was added in the international version.
• A Demo video was added to the international versions.
