Fireboy & Watergirl in The Forest Temple (HTML5, Android)

With the upcoming death of Adobe Flash, here come the HTML5 port of the game but with less forestation. This port would then be released on Android nearly a year later.

Debug Variables#

enableDebug turned on.

Variables found in fireboy-and-watergirl-forest-temple.min.js on HTML5 or assets/www/js/init.js on Android used for debugging purposes.

To better find the part in the script to turn them on (due to the script being obfuscated), add a colon at the end of the variable name in the search.

  • transparent - Makes the background while in-game transparent, white in most cases.
  • antialias - Disables or enables anti-aliasing.
  • enableDebug - Pressing Q while in-game will turn on a hitbox display. Note that toggling it off makes everything be in the corner.
    • Green - Level geometry, diamonds, level exits.
    • Gray - Static object.
    • Red - Moving object.
  • showFps - Shows the FPS in red in the upper left corner.
  • showTimeReq -
  • showShowNumBtn -
  • showNumsIndexes -
  • devUnlock - Makes all of the levels unlocked without needing to beat them all.
  • devSkipLevels -
  • devShowNumbers -
  • hideNewSigns -
  • devHideExtra -
  • devMarkExtra -
  • devSkipAds - Does nothing? Presumably would remove any ads.
  • simulateCordova - Replaces the buttons for Appstore and Playstore with 'Unlock All' and adds one to the level select.
  • simulateDevice -
  • log - Prints info to the console.
