Fire Pro Wrestling 2

Fire Pro Wrestling 2, despite its Japanese name, wasn't actually the final Fire Pro Wrestling game.

CPU Display#

Code 03000041:01 (US)/0300000B:01 (Japan) will enable the CPU use display flag.

Regional Differences#

To do: There's more: The US version has roster changes, added/removed modes (particularly the management mode), and made the MMA octagon inaccessible.

Japan	US

As is common in many games, "Push Start" is changed to "Press Start". The title screen also got a weird turquoise tint for the background. The man in the black suit is now visible thanks to the different logo style.

Gruesome Octagon#

The Octagon arena is inaccessible in the US version, almost certainly due to legal issues with UFC. It is replaced with the BLADE ring. You are also unable to exit the ring, and rope breaks do not occur. This is identical to setting the rules to Gruesome in the normal match menu. The data for the arena is still in the code, however, and can be re-enabled with a GameShark code.
