Fable II takes away many of the more traditional RPG aspects of its predecessor in favor of a more robust system for social interactions. Whether or not this was a good change depends on who you ask.

Cut Quests#
There exists, buried within the Fable II files, a cut quest regarding the Singing Sword, a weapon mentioned occasionally throughout the Fable lore but never seen in any actual capacity. It was seemingly planned for the player to undertake a quest that would see them face, according to the file names, a "mega chicken", before deciding whether to give up the sword to Esmeralda (the quest holder) or keep it for yourself.
Pub Games Exclusive Content#
Pug Games used to feature Gath's coat and hairstyle, a bed called "The Sleepmaster 3000", two new weapons, and two new tribal tattoos, among a slew of other rewards unlockable by winning tournaments that can already be accessed in-game. Due to the Xbox 360 Live Arcade shutting down in July 2024, unless it already existed in the game files, this content can only be accessed through Xbox Live accounts that already own the DLC.
