Debug Mode#

A debug mode can be activated in the Japanese version using the following code on an emulator:

Observations#

To do:
See if there's any change in the Japanese or European versions. I only have the US version

The player's name is set to Alec and they have the teammates Grandma Dizzy and Grandpa Costello. The former is interesting because Grandma Dizzy cannot be made into a team member. The currency is named euro and the player starts with 10000 of it. The player also has 100000 in the bank if they talk to Manei in My City.

In the parts, the player appears to have 3 copies of most parts (IE 3 Normal Engines and 3 Devil Engines). By default, the player character gets equipped with Normal Tires, Normal Engine, Hyper Chassis, Wide Transmission, X2 Quick Steering, Metal Pad brake, Normal Wheels, Headlights, Wing Set, Jet Turbine, Flight Wing, Normal Horn and Normal Meter. Both teammates are equipped with HG Off-Road Tires, Speed MAX Engine, Phantom Chassis, Wide Transmission, X2 Quick Steering, Normal Pad Brake, Normal Wheel, Headlights, and Propeller.

Go Town#

My Garage#

Teleports you to My Garage with all the items included except for the trophies and minigames. It has the four starter Emails. Leaving the Garage leads you to a blank My City with the exception of Wonder Reality and My City Rally Center. Leaving the garage also gives you a "Got my own garage" stamp.

Race Course#

Gives you a list of all the racecourses. Finishing or retiring from any one of them takes you back to the racecourse screen instead of Q's Factory.

Race Solo#

Same as Race Course, except there are no other racers present. Interestingly, it's also possible to drive during the start of race countdown. Additionally, there doesn't appear to be a limit on how many laps players may drive.

World Grand Prix#

Allows you to play in any track of the World Grand Prix. Finishing any racecourse takes you back to the course selection screen, thus the results aren't saved.

Action Stage#

Allows you to select any minigame to play. Finishing or retiring a minigame takes you back to the selection screen.

Allows you to visit all the characters, even without them living in houses which uses a placeholder background. Note: Attempting to start a minigame in any house that has one will instantly make the game act as if the player pressed retire. Also, red colored names mean that there's no one in the house, so you'll turn around and leave.

My Garage#

Takes you to your garage. No minigames are available. Choosing "Go outside" will take you back to the To Shop menu
