Level Differences: Items and enemies are shuffled around.

The Great Earthworm Jim Race is a special, more difficult version of the original Genesis game. It was made exclusively for the Sega Channel as part of a contest set on January 28, 1995 from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, where players completed a revamped set of levels to unlock a code and call the Sega Channel hotline before 6 P.M. The fastest player would win a grand prize trip to Los Angeles, California and visit Shiny Entertainment. Other prizes included Earthworm Jim watches, posters, and pins.

For Pete's Sake!#

  • Jim has to complete the entire stage including the advanced route. Peter's first house is missing here.

Psycrow!#
