Diver's Dream

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: DEB00.BIN and DEBDUMMY.BIN in the Japanese version and E/F/GDEB00.BIN and E/F/GDEBDUM.BIN in the European release could be some debug-related things.

Diver's Dream is a diving simulation game where the player explores the seas, finds treasures, and sells them for money to buy better equipment. They must explore further and further to eventually find the Gigantic Matilda shipwreck.

A US release was planned under the name "G-Shock", but was ultimately cancelled.

The game is probably most well-known (at least among dataminers) for the track Gigantic Matilda - First Class, which somehow managed to find itself buried in a number of PS1 and PS2 titles (including some not even developed by Konami) as an extensionless dummy file.

Dummy File#

The extensionless DOLPHIN, which is likely a padding file, is an alternate version of Big Pudding, the track that plays during Free Mode. Compared to the original, this variant is much slower (68 BPM instead of 94.5 BPM) and has a proper fadeout in the ending.
