Unfinished Sound Test#

Game Genie codes 041-F2B-E66 042-00B-E66 will allow you to enable a fourth option in the Options menu, which appears to be glitched and seems to be an unfinished Sound Test mode. Pressing Left / Right allows you to select the sound effects, but there is no visible music selection in this code. Press B to play it. Effects can't be stopped, which may cause problems and more glitches. There is no text for the menu option, but the ROM contains a table with a set of text resources for displaying numbers from 00 to 39, which are the numbers for the sound effects that can be selected with the code.

Unused Music#

Song ID 02 is an early version of the ending song, with variants present for both the Game Boy and Super Game Boy soundtracks.

To hear the song when played on a Game Boy, GameShark code 01024BD8 will play it anywhere. Game Genie codes 02C-DEF-E68 02D-3FF-E68 will play the early ending song if music is set to OFF or the game is paused when played using a Super Game Boy.
