Asterix & Obelix for the SNES is an adventure game based off the famous French comic series.
Level Select#
Pressing Left, R, Right, L, X, A at the Infogrames logo will set the bit at RAM address 7E:0EE8 to 01, enabling two level select debug features. First, selecting any level becomes available in the options menu; select your desired starting level then go back to the main menu and proceed to the game. Secondly, pressing either L or R in-game will instantly complete the current level without warning and move onto the next.
Region Lockout#
The game will lock up on the above screen after the Infogrames logo if it detects that it is running on an NTSC (American or Japanese) console.
