This is a sub-page of Antonblast/Unused Sprites.

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.

An animation for Cartoons falling, despite never being shown airborne.

ANTONBLAST_JewelgoonshuffleStart.gif ANTONBLAST_JewelgoonshuffleLoop.gif

Animations for Cartoons starting to, and for shuffling away. It's unknown what these were to be meant for.

Ogorki#

ANTONBLAST_Sp_monkey_idle.png ANTONBLAST_MonkeyThrow.gif ANTONBLAST_MonkeySpin.gif ANTONBLAST_MonkeytauntAnton.gif ANTONBLAST_MonkeytauntAnnie.gif ANTONBLAST_MonkeytauntEat.gif

The adorable monkeys from Antonball Deluxe's Jam Jungle. Although they made a cameo appearance as decoration in Ms. Keeter's Break Room, they have sprites that show that they would've been enemies, likely from a point from when Concrete Jungle was indeed Jam Jungle. The sprites that are used are under a different name header, monkeyDeco.

Throwgorki#

Placeholder

Final

A placeholder sprite of Throwgorki. Notably, the placeholder design is seen wearing sick shades only, rather than the large beanie and boots the final design has.

Placeholder sprites of Throwgorki throwing the player to the side.

An animation of Throwgorki throwing the player upwards. None of the rooms that feature Throwgorki have him throw the player upwards.

Fippo#

Animation of the Fippo enemies meant for them squishing themselves into the grates seen in the background of Slowroast Sewer. This was meant to serve as a way for them to despawn.

Bosses#

Jewel Ghoul#

Hooh boy, there is a LOT of placeholder stuff here.

ANTONBLAST_Jewelghoulbossfightcard.png ANTONBLASTBosscardJewelGhoul.png

A placeholder boss card and title for Jewel Ghoul. In the final game, only the Bossbusters get boss cards. Note that the title is a mock-up assembled in Aseprite. In the files, each letter is a separate sprite, so that each letter can individually shake.

ANTONBLAST_JewelGhoulHeadColorless.gif ANTONBLAST_JewelGhoulHandColorless.gif

Colorless versions of Jewel Ghoul's head and one of his hands.

A... rather humorous placeholder sprite of Jewel Ghoul's head, looking angry. Note that Jewel Ghoul has a crown, which reflects his older, more king-like design, rather than the brim hat and mob boss styled clothes he wears now.

A placeholder sprite of Jewel Ghoul's head turning. Note that this also uses the old crown hat.

A placeholder of Jewel Ghoul's face and crown, likely meant for his intro cutscene. In the final game, only his eyes are visible. Outline has been added in post for your viewing pleasure.

ANTONBLAST_Sp_jewelGhoul_bodySmoking.png ANTONBLAST_Sp_jewelGhoul_handSmoking.png ANTONBLAST_Sp_jewelGhoul_headSmoking.png

Placeholder sprites of Jewel Ghoul's body, head, and hand, meant for his smoking attack.

Placeholder smoke from Jewel Ghoul's smoking attack.

A different placeholder of Jewel Ghoul's hand, with a cigar. Note the cigar is more similar to the modern-age style of cigarettes, rather than the 1930s mob boss style seen in the finished sprite.

A standalone version of the cigar from the above sprite. Based of the file name, it was likely meant as a projectile. In the final game, Jewel Ghoul never chucks his cigarettes at you.

A placeholder of Jewel Ghoul's pointing hand, seen during his minecart attack.

A placeholder of Jewel Ghoul's open hand, seen during his card attack.

A placeholder card, meant for Jewel Ghoul's card attack. Note that the card uses a more standard Hearts card, rather than the unique Bossbusters card in the final.

A placeholder of Jewel Ghoul's hand with his trusty gun.

A placeholder diamond-shaped projectile. This is likely meant to be the bullets seen fired out from Jewel Ghoul's gun.

A photo-realistic fist, hue shifted to be purple. This is a placeholder for Jewel Ghoul's wind-up punch attack.

Freako Dragon#

A... blacked out, edited version of the famous Troll Face, with "HEAD OF FREAKO DRAGON..." written on it. Likely an early placeholder for Freako Dragon's head. Interestingly, it's listed as jewelGhoul_headTroll in the file.

A placeholder turning animation for Freako Dragon's head.

ANTONBLAST_Sp_freakoDragon_testHead.png ANTONBLAST_Sp_freakoDragon_hit.png ANTONBLAST_Sp_freakoDragon_testNeck.png

Test sprites for Freako Dragon's head and neck.

ANTONBLAST_Sp_pafreako.png ANTONBLAST_Pafreakobreak.gif ANTONBLAST_PafreakoGibs.png

The fabled PaFreako machine! Although the machine is seen in the background during Freako Dragon's first phase, this smaller version was meant to be used for an introduction cutscene for Freako Dragon. Satan smashes it in a fit of rage after losing.
