Adventures of Lolo (NES)

Before both characters would appear later in Kirby series as Lololo and Lalala, there was Adventures of Lolo by the same developer.

While it is the 6th game in the Eggerland series, it marks the very first game to be released in North America, as previous titles were released only in Japan while the first two MSX games saw releases in Europe, it contains levels from its previous games, with most of them being taken from Eggerland: Souzou e no Tabidachi (with a few of those already stemming from Eggerland Mystery) while some of them are taken from Eggerland: Meikyuu no Fukkatsu, with the final level seemingly being the only original one. It was never released in Japan, but the graphic overhaul in this game would be used in later sequels. Lolo would also become HAL America's mascot, seen in some of their advertisement flyers.

Description

Lolo's walking animation but sideways (in the size used in the short cutscene before the game begins where Lolo is walking towards the castle), probably meant to be used in cutscenes where Lolo was walking between areas of the castle.

An unknown and unseen character, probably placeholder, similar sprites like this also loaded on some other HAL Laboratory games such as Rollerball.
