AVICII Invector is a rhythm game dedicated to Swedish DJ Avicii, who died on April 20, 2018.
In 2015, Avicii began working with Hello There Games to develop a new way for people to experience his music through the fusion of his songs with vibrant landscapes. Upon news of his death, Hello There Games and Wired Productions sought to finish what he had started, overhauling the visuals and mechanics to deliver a game as close to his vision as possible. In memory of him, a new world was added, featuring songs from the posthumous album TIM.3
Unused Songs and Previews#
Besides "Wake Me Up", more 8-bit covers of Avicii's music made by the YouTube channel "8 Bit Universe" can be found within the files of the Switch version, suggesting that an 8-Bit world or DLC pack was planned rather than a single Secret Level.
