An early preview build of the game for the PS2 built about five months before the games final build and release. This version features a select few single-player missions in no particular order.
Unused Missions#
Found within the game's files are two unused missions.
- BarFight (Cut from final game)
- Submarine
Submarine is a regular story mission in the final game. Despite not being present on the main menu, the level can be loaded via console commands or alternatively, via the level select cheat found in the pause menu of this build. Although there is no voice acting or music at all throughout this mission, it appears this is a leftover from the May 12, 2003 Xbox build as the mission is fully present as a selectable level in that version including early voice acting.
BarFight is a much more interesting case, as it was completely cut from the final game albeit very few remnants here and there referencing the stage. Despite the map file bar01 being present in the files, the level itself cannot be loaded due to a crash resulting from a missing .lin file when attempting to load the level.

In the games files are Dialogue scripts pertaining to the unused and inaccessible BarFight mission.
