July 2009 Multiplayer Build#

This prototype is documented on Hidden Palace.

An internal multiplayer build of Wolfenstein that was leaked in August 2009, shortly before the game's release. Differences between this build and the final game's multiplayer are minimal.

Official Demo#

This prototype is documented on Hidden Palace.

The official demo for the game, compiled on 31 July 2009. It takes place in a modified version of the introductory Trainyard level, and ends when B.J. exits the trainyard. It has some small differences compared to the final game.

Differences#

  • Endrant Studios' splash screen is missing.
  • The title screen is slightly different in the demo. The "Credits" option is disabled and the "Campaign" option is replaced with "Play Demo":

Final

  • The player is given the medallion at the beginning, and is taught how to use the basic Veil power shortly after.
  • The weapons table where you meet up with Erik Engle and other Resistance members has the Mire crystal on it:
