I suddenly snap to consciousness.
It's been years since I've seen her. It felt like yesterday when we met for the first time... and I'm going to finally see her again.

Multiple dialogue options exist for this cutscene:

I still think about the time we entertained THE THEATER KIDS.
We had a picnic inside a abandoned theater back when I was at that school.
That was like... everything. Sweets, creepy ghost stories, and wondering about our futures.
None of us knew what that would look like. What we'd be doing years from now.
*I* didn't know what was going to be in store for me... if I'd even have a future.
But now? I think I finally have it figured out.

I remember the time we founded "THE FLAMING PRIDE FRIENDSHIP SQUAD".
Our own school club... it was the first time I felt like I finally belonged somewhere.
There was the shy kid who was trying to figure themselves out.
And there was the punk girl who fits the label of "looks that could literally kill".
I wonder if they'll still be watching over me when they get to see me in the starlight...
Heh, just you wait, everyone!

I won't forget her hospitality when my parents kicked me out.
When I came out to my parents, they took it really badly... and I found myself thrown out of the house for good.
It felt like I had no one else to go to... except for her.
Without asking why, she immediately took me in and let me stay over while I figured out what to do next.
...It won't be long before I see her again.

Graduation Day.
Days ago, my friend Grace tried to ask me out. Of course, I said yes.
Not that she'd know, but I'd always thought about asking her out near the tree, myself.
After all, the tree near the school yard isn't like any other - it's said that couples that kiss under it will be together forever.
Maybe it sounds foolish... but I want to believe it's true...
...No.
I know it's true.
