Scott Pilgrim EX

This page details one or more prototype versions of Scott Pilgrim EX.

The demo version of Scott Pilgrim EX was released on February 14th, 2026 (being on Valentine's day). About a month and 17 days before the full release of the game.

While some music and content in the demo goes unused, it is used in the full release.

Differences#

• Scott, Ramona, Lucas & Roxie are playable in the demo. Matthew, Robot-01 and Gideon are added in the final game.
• The game lacks a character select screen. In the final game it's been added in.
  • Alternate Color don't seem to be implemented.
• The game ends when you reach SauroTodd.
• The game lacks a save functionality.
• The demo lacks an opening and jumps right to the title screen.

• The title screen's version number is listed as DEMO 1.0.0.13821, the final game is listed as 1.0.0.13877.
• The "PRESS ANY BUTTON" text is also different, the demo it has an undershadow, while in the full game it is filled in.

• There is a button that sends you to the Steam page to Wishlist the game. This is removed in the final release, replaced with Tutorial and Achievements.
