This article has a talk page!

This is a sub-page of Proto:Pokémon X and Y.

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.

This needs some investigation.

Specifically: Find out what the new clothing option is. There are commits that reference the addition of one.

A quite tentative upper version of Pokémon X and Y, created to see how the base games react to communicating with an upper version. It exists in the source code under the upper_fake branch, and compiles with a unique VERSION_Z version identifier, which would later get replaced with Alpha Sapphire's. The branch remained active from April 15, 2013 to May 21, 2013.
Outside of a few minor additions and changes, the game largely remains the same as Y.

Changes#

Title#

X and Y

Z Proto

The title screen is a strange combination of X and Y's title screen. The top screen has the logo for X but rotated 180 degrees and a "100" added in the top-right corner, while the touch screen has the Yveltal FMV from Y.

Testing Material#

"New" forms#

New forms were created for testing purposes, which use hue shifted versions of their Pokémon Black and White sprite as a model. They both have a base stat total of 1530, that is to say, a flat 255 across the board in every stat.
