HUD#
The HUD uses a different design than the final game.
Resolution#
The game's resolution is locked at 800×600, and cannot be changed in any way.
Weapons#
- The starting knife uses a different design than the final game's knife.
- A vaguely M16-shaped assault rifle with an underbarrel grenade launcher can be used in Part 1 of the tech demo. Of note is that weapons do not need to be reloaded, unlike the final game and many others of the era.
Startup Message#
A note by Burut Creative Team can be seen upon launching either part of the tech demo. It can also be seen by clicking "About" on the main menu. This message shows some details about this demo, as well as the controls which cannot be changed.
Part 1#
The first part starts the player off in a bedroom of sorts, with a door leading to a hallway. There's some enemies in this level which can be attacked, but not killed.

Part 2#
The second part has no enemies, but does have a lot more to explore. Some of the doors have no collision, and as such, can be walked through, leading to various bugs.
